Dynamotion/ATI Has $4.8-Million Loss

SANTA ANA — Dynamotion/ATI Corp., which produces mechanical drilling and routing systems for the semiconductor and electronics industries, reported a net loss of $4.8 million, or $1.82 a share, for 1996. Results include losses associated with the 1996 sales of the company’s ATI router product line and PMC division. For the previous year, the company lost $7.3 million, or $4.53 a share. Revenue declined 21% to $16.2 million from $20.5 million.
The company lost $2.6 million, or 93 cents a share, in the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $969,000, or 54 cents a share, for the corresponding period in 1995. Revenue dropped 41% to $3.9 million from $6.6 million.
