Tantardini Adds to Cypress’ Rout

Jill Tantardini hit a grand slam in the seventh inning to cap Cypress’ 13-2 rout of Antelope Valley in the championship final of the Ventura softball tournament Sunday in Ventura.
Jaime Wilkes went the distance in the five-inning two-hitter.
Cypress, which improved to 40-3, also had its way with Rancho Santiago in a semifinal game, beating the Dons, 12-3.
