Jacobs, a sophomore outfielder and pitcher, had several big hits as Cypress went 3-0-1 in the Hancock tournament. He had a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth to tie Fresno, 3-3. The game, still tied, was called after 12 innings. Jacobs also had a three-run double in the ninth that gave Cypress an 11-10 victory over Merced. His two-run double in the seventh broke a 3-3 tie and Cypress went on to beat Los Angeles Harbor, 6-3.
