The Braille Institute is offering a free 12-week series of seminars on how to live with sight loss.
Officials said the program, to begin April 23, will help people with fading vision learn new ways of performing daily tasks. It will also offer tips on maximizing remaining vision, special lighting techniques and colors that can improve eyesight.
Visual aid consultations and information on how to receive audio books through the institute’s library service will also be available. Anyone who is blind or visually impaired may attend.
The seminars will be at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Road, Laguna Niguel.
