Hughes, Microsemi Sign $3.9-Million Pact

SANTA ANA — Microsemi Corp. said Thursday it has received a three-year contract worth up to $3.9 million from Hughes Electronics Corp. to manufacture temperature sensing semiconductor devices used in space-based radar and communications systems.
Microsemi said most of the devices will be produced for the Hughes Space and Communications division in El Segundo.
