Spotlight: Princess Cruises to Ship Division to Valencia

Princess Cruises has entered into a long-term lease to move its customer service center from Century City to Valencia, bringing 600 jobs to the community. The move is part of a $100-million commercial expansion of the adjacent Valencia Town Center regional mall by Newhall Land & Farming Co. The Princess Cruises group will occupy a six-story, 130,000-square-foot office building to be built by Newhall. The building is expected to be completed by the fall of 1998.
