City Seeks Help Selling July 4 Breakfast Tickets

The city is seeking nonprofit organizations to sell tickets for a July 4 pancake breakfast. The groups will receive a portion of proceeds from the tickets they sell, officials said Wednesday.
The breakfast will coincide with the Huntington Beach Fourth of July 5K Run/Expo, an event to benefit the 93rd Annual Huntington Beach Parade, the city’s youth shelter, the Ocean View High School Entertainment Corps and Project Self-Sufficiency of Huntington Beach.
Tickets to the event are $3 each and nonprofit groups must sell at least 50 to receive proceeds, officials said.
The breakfast will be from 6:30 to 10 a.m. July 4 at Worthy Park, at Main and 17th streets.
