Oregon Suspends Rosemond

Oregon point guard Yasir Rosemond was suspended for Saturday’s non-conference game against Nevada because he was thrown out of Tuesday’s game at San Diego State. Rosemond was ejected with 19 seconds left when he threw a punch at Josko Visnjic of San Diego State.

New Mexico’s Kenny Thomas is insured for $2 million by Lloyd’s of London, the Albuquerque Journal reported Wednesday. Thomas’ father, Calvin Thomas, said he had got a disability policy for his son because the junior center is projected to be worth $2 million if he plays in the NBA next season.
