Iwerks Building Giant Oklahoma City Theater

Iwerks Entertainment Inc. has been hired to build a giant-screen theater system in Oklahoma City. The value of the project was not disclosed.
Iwerks’ 7-story, 70-millimeter, large-format theater will be the first of its kind in Oklahoma. It is scheduled to open in May 1999 at the Omniplex science and technology facility.
Iwerks, based in Burbank, has installed more than 230 attractions in the United States and overseas.
