‘Earth Party’ to Remember Denver

Los Angeles Alliance for Survival’s “New Year’s Eve Earth Party” will remember the late singer-environmentalist John Denver on what would have been his 54th birthday, at the Church in Ocean Park, 235 S. Hill St., Santa Monica, on Dec. 31, beginning at 8 p.m.
Entertainment will feature pop-rock band Global Harmony and “The 1997 Comedy Revue,” with Paul Krassner, Rick Overton, Charlie Hill, Jackie Wollner and guest host Darryl Henriques. A buffet dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
