Isabel Casillas
Hoover, Senior
Casillas, the brother of 1992 state Division I champion Margarito Casillas, won the Pacific League title, placed seventh in the Southern Section Division I final, eighth in the state meet and 51st in the West regional.
Kevin Lelles
Notre Dame, Junior
The only non-senior on the first team, Lelles won the Mission League title, placed fourth in the Southern Section Division IV final and seventh in the state championships.
Victor Ochoa
Nordhoff, Senior
Ochoa made the first team for the second consecutive year after winning the Frontier League title and placing second in the Ventura County championships and in the Division IV races of the Southern Section and state finals.
Justin Patananan
Highland, Senior
The Golden League champion finished eighth in the Southern Section Division I final, 12th in the state meet and 58th in the West regional.
Aaron Sharp
Santa Clara, Senior
Sharp outkicked Doug Hall of Flintridge Prep to win the state Division V title in an upset after finishing third in the Southern Section final and fourth in the Ventura County championships.
Matthew Torres
Nordhoff, Senior
The transfer from St. Bonaventure gave Nordhoff a superb 1-2-3 punch and finished third in the Ventura County championships, 10th in the Division IV race of the Southern Section finals and third in the state meet.
Second Team
Jacob Boeding, Saugus, Junior
The third-place finisher in the Foothill League championships placed seventh in the Southern Section Division II final to pace Saugus to its first title since 1985. Boeding finished 21st in the state meet.
Doug Hall, Flintridge Prep, Senior
The Prep League champion placed second in the Division V races of the Southern Section and state championships.
Dan Klawer, Saugus, Junior
Klawer led Saugus to a 1-2-3 finish in the Foothill League championships before finishing ninth in the Southern Section Division II final and 66th in the state meet.
Fritz Knoll, St. Bonaventure, Senior
The Tri-Valley League champion placed 11th in the Ventura County championships, ninth in the Southern Section Division IV final and 15th in the state meet.
Matt Swaney, Ventura, Junior
The Channel League champion placed sixth in the Ventura County championships and 10th in the Southern Section Division II final.
Josh Spiker, Ventura, Sophomore
The lone sophomore on the boys’ all-region teams finished second in the Channel League finals, fifth in the Ventura County championships and 13th in the Southern Section Division II race.
Philip Young, La Canada, Senior
The Rio Hondo League champion placed 10th in the Southern Section Division III final.
