“We’re getting ready to move into Pinot Noir, having purchased an 85-acre vineyard in Anderson Valley, so we’ve been tasting a lot of wines from that variety--84, in fact, over the last couple of months. One of the wines that impressed us the most was the 1995 Siduri Pinot Noir from Rose Vineyard. It comes from the Anderson Valley, too, and has the depth of color, richness and complexity, as well as the sweet fruit finish, that we like so much in Russian River Pinot Noirs. We were pleased to find it in an Alexander Valley wine.”
