Pact Allows City Hall to Be Open on Fridays
- Share via
South Pasadena residents next month will be able to pay their sewage bills or apply for a building permit on Fridays.
City Hall will be open on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Aug. 18. The City Council last week approved a work agreement with the municipal employees union that will allow South Pasadena City Hall to remain open five days a week.
City Hall is already open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m to 5 p.m. but like many small city governments in Los Angeles County, it is closed on Fridays. It will be the first time in six years that City Hall will be open Fridays.
