Angels Get Rangers’ Bell for Perisho

The Angels not only completed the Ken Hill trade Friday, they expanded it, sending pitching prospect Matt Perisho to the Texas Rangers in a separate deal.
The Rangers, who traded Hill for catcher Jim Leyritz on July 31, also got minor league third baseman Robert Sasser as the player to be determined. The Angels got minor league third baseman Mike Bell, the son of former major league third baseman Buddy Bell, for Perisho.
