Nick Van Exel, forced out of Tuesday’s victory at Dallas because of back spasms, did not practice Wednesday and is questionable for tonight at San Antonio. Corie Blount, who did not play against the Mavericks because of a sprained ankle, practiced Wednesday and should be available tonight. Kobe Bryant, having remained in Los Angeles, is improving but still unable to run on his sprained ankle.
