Litton Awarded Air Force Contract

Litton Industries has been awarded a $17.9-million Air Force contract to develop a new broad-band digital military receiver to identify enemy missiles. The contract was awarded to Litton Amecom, in College Park, Md., which produces electronic warfare systems and various communications systems for air-traffic control. Litton, headquartered in Woodland Hills, is a major defense contractor.
