Washington Runs Wild As Paraclete Eliminates Kilpatrick Again

Dominic Washington rushed for 273 yards in 37 carries and scored four touchdowns to pace Paraclete to a 32-16 victory over Kilpatrick Friday night in a first-round Southern Section Division XI playoff game at Antelope Valley College.
Paraclete has defeated Kilpatrick in the first round two years in a row.
Washington scored on runs of four and one yard in the second half as the Spirits (10-1) extended a 19-16 halftime lead.
Washington’s first-half touchdown runs covered two and eight yards.
The game was called with 1 minute 30 seconds to play after Kilpatrick’s Kio Simmons collapsed going back to the defensive huddle. Paraclete had the ball on the Kilpatrick three-yard line.
Kilpatrick (4-6) took an 8-7 lead in the first quarter when Jermaine Marshall scored from seven yards out. Terrence Coleman ran for the two-point conversion.
Marshall led the Mustangs with 101 yards in 19 carries.
Sean Fraser hit Tommy Breech on a 41-yard pass play for a Paraclete touchdown and Washington scored from eight yards to extend the Spirits’ lead to 19-8 in the second quarter.
Daryl Colbert scored from 12 yards out and ran in for the two-point conversion to pull Kilpatrick to within three at the half.
