Umpire Ed Montague, completing his 22nd year in the National League, will be behind the plate for the opening game of the World Series.
Other members of the crew, announced Wednesday by Major League Baseball, are National Leaguers Joe West and Randy Marsh along with American Leaguers Dale Ford, Greg Kosc and Ken Kaiser. All will be working their second World Series.
For Game 1, Ford will be at first, West at second, Kosc at third, Marsh down the left-field line and Kaiser down the right-field line.
