In other nonleague water polo:
Brea Olinda 13, Hacienda Heights Los Altos 3--Brea Olinda (9-7), the second-ranked team in Division VI, was paced by Matt Flesher, who had six goals. Los Altos is the third-ranked team in the same division.
Orange 8, Loara 7--Orange evened its record at 9-9, with a victory over host Loara. Paco Preciado scored four goals for Orange.
In Golden West League girls’ tennis:
Ocean View 11, Santa Ana 7--No. 1 singles player, Christina Son, didn’t lose a game in sweeping, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, for Ocean View (3-7, 3-2).
In Century League girls’ volleyball:
El Modena 3, Canyon 0--Michelle Armstrong had nine kills and Kim Frederick added eight for El Modena (9-1, 3-1), which won, 15-4, 15-0, 15-12.
In the Golden West League:
No. 6 Ocean View 3, Santa Ana 0--Sharon Shelton had nine kills for Ocean View (7-1, 4-0), which won, 15-0, 15-2, 15-2.
Rosary 3, Tustin 0--Alissa Sullivan of Rosary (8-2, 4-0), the fifth-ranked team in Division IIIA, had 10 kills against visiting Tustin in its 15-5, 15-4, 15-8 victory. Tustin is 2-7, 2-2.
North Orange County water polo tournament:
Huntington Beach 11, Magnolia 7--Logan Shaw and Cory Worley each scored three goals in a second-round victory for Huntington Beach (10-7).
