Anaheim Heritage Christian 70, Buckley 21--Paul Caffery rushed for 419 yards and seven touchdowns in 22 carries and the Patriots (3-2, 1-2) overwhelmed the Griffins (0-5, 0-3) in a Victory League game at Buckley.
Anaheim Heritage Christian did not throw a pass, rushing 46 times for 609 yards. Three of Caffery’s touchdown runs were 57 yards or longer.
Buckley’s Bjorn Jacobson threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Tom Devoss and had touchdown runs of six and 14 yards.
At the suggestion of game officials, the fourth quarter was played with a running clock.
