CKE in Hardee’s Deal

ANAHEIM — CKE Restaurants Inc. signed three agreements to acquire 27 Hardee’s franchised restaurants in Green Bay, Wis., and surrounding areas.
CKE said it acquired eight Hardee’s franchises from Restaurants of America Inc. and Hard-Kor LLC on Oct. 15. CKE expects to complete the acquisition of another nine Hardee’s from Restaurants of America and Hard-Kor in the near future. The combined annual revenue for the 17 restaurants is about $13 million.
CKE also intends to acquire 10 Hardee’s franchises with revenues of about $9.5 million from 20th Century Foods Inc.
CKE completed its purchase of the Hardee’s fast-food chain in July.
