Volunteers Needed at Child Learning Sites

Volunteers willing to spare one hour a week to assist a child in reading, writing or math are needed at three learning centers in the city.
The Cathy Torres Learning Center, Homework House at the Placentia Presbyterian Church and a new site starting at the Gomez Community Center in the Atwood neighborhood are seeking volunteers.
There is also a need for volunteers with computer skills to help children with math programs and other software.
