ANAHEIM — A 23-year-old man was killed Friday night in what police said was a gang-related shooting. Two alleged gang members from Garden Grove were arrested in connection with the killing shortly after it occurred, police said Saturday.
Jose Antonio Marin, of Anaheim, was found lying on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of South Mountainview Avenue at 10:47 p.m. He died at UCI Medical Center in Orange, police said.
Witnesses had given police a description of a car seen leaving the area after the shooting. It was found unoccupied several miles from the scene of the shooting. Detectives staked out the car and arrested Christian Guillermo Torres, 19, and Rudolfo Torres, 21, when they returned.
Both men were being held at Anaheim City Jail on suspicion of murder, police said.
