La Salle 35, Bell-Jeff 3--Quarterback David Taylor rushed for 300 yards and five touchdowns in 34 carries to lead the Lancers (6-1, 3-1) at Burroughs High.
Taylor scored on runs of one, five and seven yards to give La Salle a 20-3 halftime lead. He also scored on a 33-yard run in the third quarter and a two-yarder in the fourth.
Sean Doyle kicked a 42-yard field goal for Bell-Jeff (2-5, 2-2) in the first quarter. David Barsumyan rushed for 50 yards in 15 carries and caught the only completed pass for Bell-Jeff.
