Ice Dogs All Alone in First Place

Shawn Penn scored twice, including a shorthanded goal, to lead the Long Beach Ice Dogs to a 6-2 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday night at the Long Beach Arena.

It was the fourth victory in a row for the Ice Dogs (9-5-1), who took over sole possession of first place in the International Hockey League’s Southwest Division.
