Harry Lee, executive director of the Ventura County Leadership Academy, has completed the inaugural Coro Southern California trainer preparation program in Los Angeles. The weeklong program trained 24 people in the Coro method of conducting community leadership training programs.
The leadership academy is sponsored by United Way of Ventura County.
* Aline H. Roberts, owner of Insurance Dimensions in Thousand Oaks, has been awarded the President Council Award for Leading Producers Round Table by the National Assn. of Health Underwriters.
The award is presented for achieving significant underwriting of health insurance for businesses, individuals and employee groups.
* Donald Jones, owner of MFC&V; in Camarillo, has been awarded the Golden Eagle Award for Leading Producers Round Table by the National Assn. of Health Underwriters.
* Attorneys Michael G. Walker of Newbury Park and Loye M. Barton of Ventura have been named partners of the law firm of Norman, Dowler, Sawyer, Israel & Hancock in Ventura. Both attorneys have been with the firm since 1990.
