Thousand Oaks 19, Chaminade 15--Robert Hueners’ 56-yard touchdown run with 3:13 to play lifted the Lancers (1-2) over the Eagles (0-3) at Thousand Oaks.

Hueners, a senior running back, also ran for an 80-yard touchdown on the Lancers’ previous possession and finished with 161 yards and two touchdowns in 12 carries.

Chaminade built a 15-6 lead through three quarters on a first-quarter field goal by Clayton Johnson, a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown by Marc Merrill and a 50-yard touchdown run by Matt Markis.

Markis rushed for 209 yards and one touchdown in 28 carries.
