‘Drabble’ Creator Will Wrap Up Lecture Series

Mission Viejo cartoonist Kevin Fagan, whose “Drabble” cartoon strip appears in The Times, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the University Club at UC Irvine.
Fagan, author of “Son of Drabble,” the fifth collection of his syndicated cartoon, is the final speaker in the Orange County Public Library’s Voices for Libraries benefit lecture series. Fagan will sign copies of his book after his talk.

* Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, author of the children’s book “Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born,” will sign at 2 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble in Metro Point, 901 South Coast Plaza Drive, Costa Mesa.
* A used-book sale featuring thousands of titles will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Fullerton Library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. A used-book sale also will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Anaheim Public Library, 500 W. Broadway.
