The Pacific Symphony is one of nine new members joining the Orchestra Partnership network, an organization founded in Chicago in 1993 by 24 major United States orchestras to combine marketing efforts directed at corporate fund-raising.
The amount of money the Santa Ana-based group will receive will be a function of donors’ interest and determination, according to partnership spokesperson Terri Dillon.
The Pacific joins such founding orchestras as the New York and Los Angeles philharmonics, Chicago Symphony and the Cleveland and Philadelphia orchestras.
The other eight new members are Columbus Symphony, Florida Orchestra, Florida Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, San Antonio Symphony and the Utah Symphony.
