Ex-Motown Chief to Run DreamWorks Records Division

DreamWorks Records has hired Jheryl Busby, former president of Motown Records, to run its urban music division. Busby, who started his music career 30 years ago working for the famed Stax Records label, has been affiliated with the success of a string of R&B; stars, including Boyz II Men, Bobby Brown and Janet Jackson.
PolyGram has named Nick Gatfield as president of its music publishing sector in the United States. Gatfield will remain in his role as president of the U.S. division of PolyGram’s Polydor Records label.
