SEASON AT A GLANCE: A part-time player, Friedrichsen has made the most of his playing time. He is batting .667 and has achieved the rare statistic of having more runs batted in (19) than at-bats (15). Playing mostly at designated hitter, Friedrichsen has adjusted well to the varsity level after starring as an outfielder and pitcher for the freshman team last season.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Friedrichsen was six for six with four home runs and 16 RBIs in two Foothill League victories over Burbank, helping Hart (18-3, 7-2) rebound from its only two league losses the previous week. His totals included a grand slam in each game and his three home runs and 10 RBIs in a 17-2 victory on Tuesday tied school single-game records.
