Books Needed for Library at School

A furniture store is collecting children’s books to donate to Adams Elementary School.
Plummers furniture store, 1540 E. Warner Ave., will collect picture books, nonfiction books, biographies and autobiographies through Sept. 24.
Officials said they hope to deliver about 250 books to the school at the end of September or in early October. The store also will contribute $1,000 to the school’s library. Information: (714) 557-0611.
