AML Communications Wins $470,000 in Orders

AML Communications in Camarillo has received two orders totaling $470,000 for cellular communications equipment from a manufacturer serving the South American wireless communications market and Lucent Technologies.

With these new contracts, the company’s total backlog for orders of wireless infrastructure products has increased to $3.5 million. The contracts are follow-up orders from both customers.

Shipments associated with both contracts are expected to be completed by March 31, the close of AML’s fiscal year.

AML designs and manufactures amplifiers for the cellular, paging and satellite communication markets.
