Services will be Saturday for Simi Valley Police Officer Jonathan Gonce, who died Monday. He was 42.
Friends and relatives may pay respects Friday between 3 and 8 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Mortuary, 101 E. Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks.
On Saturday, a funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 13955 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark. The services will be followed by a motorcade to Valley Oaks Cemetery, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.
The Simi Valley Police Department will be staffed Saturday by Ventura County sheriff’s deputies.
Donations may be sent to the Gonce Family Memorial Fund, c/o First Western Bank, 256 W. Los Angeles Ave., Moorpark 93021. Donations also may be dropped off at any First Western Bank branch or the Simi Valley Police Department.
