Ahmanson Ranch Development

“Ease Land Requirement, Ahmanson Says,” Jan. 16.
Every so often a person who has been in the public eye has a chance to become immortal in several ways. Such is the case with Bob Hope.
Hope owns the properties at Runkle Ranch and Corral Canyon. The Ahmanson Land Co. is trying to purchase these properties so they may continue their quest to destroy some of the most beautiful, virgin open space in Ventura County. Their destruction is all in the name of greed.
Fortunately, Hope holds the key to stalling and perhaps stopping the carnage that Ahmanson wants to perpetrate upon this land. If Hope refuses to sell the land then he would be free to create immortality for himself by creating the Bob Hope Park and Open Space. He would be able to show his gratitude for all the fame and fortune that the public has heaped upon him.
Please, Mr. Hope, consider donating your land to the people of California, and your fame will live forever and all the generations of humans and animals that follow us will owe you a huge debt of gratitude.
