Parade Help Sought for City Anniversary

The San Clemente Historical Society is looking for participants and volunteers for a parade celebrating the city’s 70th anniversary.
The parade, scheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 9, will move down El Camino Real, illustrating the region’s history chronologically, from the Native American settlements to the conquistador period, the rancho era, the founding of the city and more recent events. Information: (949) 492-9684.
