Unarmed Man Robs Sandwich Shop

A man robbed a Subway Sandwiches shop Thursday, but no one was injured, police said.
The robber entered the restaurant on the 19800 block of Brookhurst Street through an employee entrance at 7:34 p.m., Lt. Luis Ochoa said.
The robber, wearing a yellow shirt, tight black pants and panty hose on his head, went behind the counter and told an employee, “Give me the money,” Ochoa said. Then the robber, who was unarmed, took money from the cash register and fled on foot. Police did not disclose the amount of money taken.
