Valley organizations that promote healthy living will converge at Panorama Mall on Saturday for the second annual Family Festival.
Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, the March of Dimes and Valley Presbyterian Hospital will be among at least 10 groups that will distribute information about family health and infant and child care.
The Women, Infants and Children program of the Northeast Valley Health Corp. will provide information about breast-feeding.
The federally funded program provides food and education to needy families, said Luz Chacon, director of health education at the health corporation.
Information will be available on how breast-feeding affects the health of both mother and child.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the main hall of the mall, 8401 Van Nuys Blvd.
