Viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at Disney’s animated feature “Mulan,” on Movie Surfers Go Inside Disney’s “Mulan,” (Disney Channel, Wednesday at 8:55 p.m.). It’s scheduled to premiere in theaters June 19. The story looks at the adventures of a young Chinese woman who disguises herself as a soldier and joins the Chinese army in order to save her ailing father’s life. For ages 13 and above.

With Vice President Al Gore’s help, “Bill Nye the Science Guy” traces the evolution of computers (KCAL, Saturday at 9 a.m.) from machines that take up entire rooms to the personal laptop that fits in a briefcase. The music video of the week is a parody on La Bouche’s “Be My Lover,” called “No Computers.” For ages 8 to 14.

In honor of Father’s Day, actor Will Smith’s short video “Just the Two of Us” premieres during the morning lineup on Fox (Saturday at 10:20 a.m.). The video was written by Smith as a tribute to his young son and features Damon Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds with their sons. For the family.
