Nation’s Letter Carriers Deliver for Food Banks

WASHINGTON — The nation’s letter carriers collected 62.5 million pounds of food in their annual charity drive.
The food collected May 9 was provided to community food banks across the country, the National Assn. of Letter Carriers said. The largest total was collected by Milwaukee carriers at 1,307,021 pounds. Nashville was second at 1,146,557.
