Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Car

VENTURA — An elderly pedestrian died Saturday night after he was hit by a car in the 2000 block of Thompson Boulevard.
The man, who was not identified by authorities, was attempting to cross the street about 6:30 p.m. when he was hit, said Ventura Police Lt. Brad Talbot.
The victim was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, Talbot said.
