Micronics to Represent Celeritek Line in China

Micronics International in Ventura has signed an exclusive sales agreement that allows it to represent the entire product line of Celeritek Inc. of Santa Clara throughout the People’s Republic of China.
Celeritek provides gallium-arsenide circuits for cellular telephones and wireless communications. Its revenues for last year reached nearly $50 million and are estimated to grow 30% this year.
Celeritek has had little exposure in the Chinese marketplace. Micronics plans to expose Celeritek’s products to more than 100 manufacturers of cell phones in China.
