Ice Dogs Beat San Antonio, 6-2

The Long Beach Ice Dogs trounced the San Antonio Dragons, 6-2, in an International Hockey League game Wednesday in front of an announced 6,547 at San Antonio.
The Ice Dogs, who lead the Southwest Division with a 46-19 record and have clinched a playoff berth, took a 4-0 first-period lead and were never threatened by San Antonio (21-40).
Jocelyn Lemieux scored twice for the Ice Dogs.
After Claude Jutras scored, Lemieux made it 2-0 at 12:36. Only 48 seconds later, Mark Hardy scored.
Vitali Yachmenev and Lemieux scored to make it 6-1 after two periods.
