Two Vanguards Reach 3rd Round in NAIA Tennis

Two Southern California College players advanced Monday to the third round of the NAIA men’s tennis championships in Tulsa, Okla.
The Vanguards’ Stefan Johansson defeated Richard Winter of Oklahoma City, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3, and Joakim Ulfvebrand defeated Ari Niskanen of Azusa Pacific, 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3.
SCC’s Nan Ma and Jeff Baker lost in the second round and Hayden Kemp lost in the first round.
Play continues today through Saturday.
