Public Comment Sought on Improving Trial Courts
- Share via
South-Central Los Angeles residents are invited to a meeting on Thursday to give advice on how the county’s trial courts can plan for the future.
Residents will be asked for their comments and suggestions on jury reform, public confidence in the courts and other areas of court operations and community interaction.
The planning process stems from calls made in July by the state’s chief justice, Ronald M. George, for each county to bolster relations between the courts and their communities.
The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Florence/Firestone Community Services Center, 7807 S. Compton Ave., Los Angeles.
