Troy Girls Clinch League Tennis Title

Sunny Hills won all nine singles sets and Troy swept in doubles, but the Warriors outscored Sunny Hills in games, 72-67, and clinched the Freeway League girls’ tennis title Tuesday at Troy.
Sarah Riley and Cecelia Laumbach swept, 6-1, 6-1, 6-0, Lori Judd and Veronica Fermin swept, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3, and Karen Eitan and Michelle Dihn swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-3, for the Warriors (18-0, 10-0).
Second-place Sunny Hills is to 15-4, 8-2.
