Promoting harmony and destroying prejudices will be the goal of more than 600 high school students, teachers and administrators gathering Thursday at the 10th annual “Walk in My Shoes” symposium. The theme of the Orange County Human Relations Commission-sponsored event is “Understanding Our Worlds,” which is key in a county that is becoming more culturally diverse each year, according to organizers. The event begins at 8 a.m. at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Student Union.
