Transition Analysis Component Technology Inc.: The Yorba Linda provider of database information services lost $68,000, or 11 cents a share, in its first quarter ending Sept. 30. A year ago, the company reported a profit of $26,000, or 5 cents a share. Revenue rose 43%, to $924,000, from $648,000. The company attributed the loss to ongoing costs from last year’s acquisition of Research Analysis Corp., outside consulting fees incurred for software development, and marketing expenses to promote new products and services. The increased revenue came from a 13% gain in the subscription base and new customers for its high-end services.
