Glendale 21, Hoover 6--Carlos Gutierrez passed for two touchdowns for the Dynamiters (4-6, 1-4), who held Hoover (0-10, 0-5) to 168 yards at Glendale.
Gutierrez completed seven of 13 passes for 76 yards, five to Angelo Walker. Walker had a five-yard scoring reception, and Luis Company scored on a 35-yard hook-and-lateral play, with Walker as the middleman.
Hoover took a 6-0 second-quarter lead on Jason Young’s one-yard run. Young was held to 107 yards in 20 carries.
