Ice Dog Coach Gets 500th Win

Andy Roach scored the Ice Dogs’ second goal in the extra round to give them a 7-6 shootout win over the Utah Grizzlies at the Long Beach Arena on Saturday night.
It was also the 500th victory for Coach John Van Boxmeer.
Dion Lambert scored twice for the Ice Dogs. Darryl Williams, Jocelyn Lemieux, Patrik Stefan and Roach also had goals.
Goalie Ryan Bach had 26 saves in 31 shots for the Ice Dogs.
